This page explains how we handle the information published on MangaloreDiary Careers, so that you know what to expect and how to tell us when something is wrong.
Who publishes what
Job listings and company profiles are written by employers or entered on their behalf. Guides and other articles are written by our editorial team. We do not claim to have checked every claim an employer makes.
How we review listings
- New employer listings are reviewed by our team before or soon after they go live. We look for a real organisation, a clear role, a location, a way to apply and the absence of fees or unrealistic promises.
- We may edit a listing for clarity, or reject or remove it if it breaks our Terms of Use.
- Listings that are past their last date are removed from search results and marked as expired.
Warning signs we look for
- Requests for registration fees, deposits, training fees or "security money".
- Offers that are far above normal pay for the role, or that do not name the employer.
- Applications routed only through personal messaging accounts.
- Overseas jobs without a registered recruiting agent's details.
Corrections and complaints
If you find an error, an outdated listing or a suspicious employer, tell us through the Grievance Redressal page. We correct genuine errors promptly and note significant corrections on the page.
Advertising
Advertisements are labelled and kept separate from job listings. Advertisers do not influence which jobs we publish.
