This Privacy Policy explains how MangaloreDiary ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use MangaloreDiary Careers at https://mangalorediary.in/careers (the "Platform"). It is published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 together with the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (the "DPDP Act"), as they apply to us from time to time.

2. What personal data we collect and why
If you apply for a job
- Your name, email address and phone number, the resume or CV you upload, and any message you write in the application.
- Technical details such as your IP address and browser or device type, recorded for security and to prevent abuse.
We use this to deliver your application to the employer you chose, to let the employer review and respond to it, and to keep the Platform secure.
If you are an employer or post a job
- Your email address, company profile details (such as company name, address, website, logo and description) and the contact details you put in job postings.
- Sign-in records, including the email used, time, IP address and browser details.
We use this to create and secure your account, publish and moderate listings, send you notifications about your listings and applications, and prevent fraud.
Everyone who visits
- Pages viewed, the website or campaign that referred you, device and browser type, and a random visitor identifier stored in a cookie. Our own visit analytics do not store your IP address.
- Records of advertisements shown or clicked, which may include IP address and browser details.
- Short-lived security tokens that protect forms from misuse.
If you write to us
The details you include in an email or a report, so that we can respond.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last took effect. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the Platform or by email.
