Literature and culture take centre stage in Mangaluru with Book Fest 2026, presented by Sahitya Kendra Mangaluru.
The three-day festival will bring together books, writers, poets, artists, students and literature enthusiasts through a mix of exhibitions, competitions, discussions and cultural performances.
Visitors can explore a grand book exhibition and sale, meet renowned poets and eminent writers from across Karnataka, and participate in a variety of literary and cultural programmes.
The festival will also feature literary competitions, traditional Taalamaddale, theatre performances, film screenings, panel discussions, a students' panel and a poets' meet (Kavigoshti).
The organizers have extended a warm welcome to everyone interested in literature, culture, books and Kannada.
